Really fancied some homemade cheeseburgers for dinner last night… so made some on the griddle.
Started with some 85/15 beef to which I added 1 egg and a large amount of my favorite BBQ rub. Mixed well and then created some approx. 4ox burger balls. Placed them back in the fridge until I was ready to cook. Buttered up some burger buns and added a little season to each of them.
Heated the grill to a low/medium temperature and fried the buns in the butter until crispy. Increased the heat then added the burgers, let the bottom crisp up before smashing them down. I let them cook for approx. 2 minutes before flipping them over and adding a slice of Muenster cheese. Another couple of minutes and they were done.

Placed the burgers on the grilled butter buns and topped off with our favorite sauces – mine was a spicy BBQ one.
